Now living in Askeaton, experimental filmmakers Michael Higgins and Juana Robles collaborated with pupils of Askeaton National School during 2022. Taking reels of 16mm analogue film, together they scratched, painted and drew patterns directly onto its surface, creating a lyrical approach to film, one that foregrounds mood, atmosphere, visual rhythms and sensory interplay.
